Courtesy Visit by Shaika Dr. Haifaa Younis and Delegation to the Mufti of Perlis

Bukit Keteri, 3 August 2025 — On the morning of Sunday, 3 August, renowned Islamic scholar and educator Dr. Syaikha Haifaa Younis, founder of the Jannah Institute, together with her delegation, paid a courtesy visit to Sahibus Samahah Prof. Dato' Arif Perkasa Dr. Mohd Asri bin Zainul Abidin, the Mufti of Perlis, at his official residence in Bukit Keteri, Perlis.

The visit, held a day after the successful Women of Sunnah Seminar, served as a moment of reflection, gratitude, and the strengthening of ties between two respected figures in contemporary Islamic scholarship. During the private meeting, both parties engaged in meaningful discussions surrounding the challenges and opportunities in modern da’wah efforts.

Dr. Haifaa conveyed her deep appreciation for the kind hospitality extended by the Mufti and the people of Perlis. She commended the state’s consistent efforts in promoting authentic Islamic teachings rooted in knowledge, wisdom, and compassion. 

In return, Sahibus Samahah Prof. Dato' Arif Perkasa Dr. Mohd Asri bin Zainul Abidin welcomed the visit warmly and praised Dr. Haifaa’s work in inspiring thousands of Muslim women around the world. He acknowledged the value of such cross-cultural scholarly exchanges and affirmed Perlis’ commitment to continue promoting academic collaborations that benefit the global Muslim ummah.

The visit marked a significant step in forging deeper ties between international and local scholars, strengthening Perlis’ position as a hub for enlightened Islamic thought.
