Guidelines For The Imam After The Prayer

GUIDELINES FOR THE IMAM AFTER THE PRAYER
1. The imam performs dhikr (remembrance of God) after prayer in accordance with the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
2. The imam performs dhikr individually, and is encouraged to follow the guidelines for post-prayer dhikr issued by the Department of the Mufti of the State of Perlis.
3. The imam should turn to face the congregation (makmum) after seeking forgiveness (istighfar) three times and reciting اللهم أنت السلام.. ("O Allah, You are Peace..."), whether by turning to the right side of the row, the left side of the row, or facing the congregation directly.
4. The imam should lower his voice while performing dhikr, except for the purpose of instructing the rest of the congregation, and only for a limited duration.
