SITTING IN TAWARRUK POSITION DURING TASHAHHUD

The Tawarruk sitting position has several methods. One commonly practised method is sitting on the left buttock with the left foot extended towards the right and positioned beneath the right foot, which is raised with its sole upright. This is established in the Sunnah of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). It is performed during the second tashahhud in prayer. This Tawarruk sitting is performed taking into consideration an individual's capability and the condition of the congregation.
