PERFORMING QIYAMULLAIL (NIGHT PRAYER) IN CONGREGATION
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) consistently performed the night prayer individually. However, there are narrations indicating that he once performed it in his house in congregation with several companions such as Ibn 'Abbas, Ibn Mas'ud, and likewise Hudhaifah bin al-Yaman. Therefore, the night prayer may be performed in congregation provided its propriety is observed.
