Recitations Between The Takbīrs Of Eid Prayer

THE 36TH MEETING OF THE PERLIS STATE FATWA COMMITTEE / 2018
8 - 9 MAC 2018 / 20 - 21 JAMADIL AKHIR 1439H
RECITATIONS BETWEEN THE TAKBĪRS OF EID PRAYER
There is no specific prescribed dhikr to be recited between the takbīrs of the Eid prayer. A person may recite tasbih, tahmid, tahlil, takbir or the like, as there is no specific wording established from the Prophet SAW. Indeed, if a person remains silent and does not recite anything between those takbīrs, it is also permissible, because there is no specific established dhikr to be recited.
Resolved at the Meeting of the Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Perlis No. 5 of 2018 convened on 27 September 2018.
