WORDING OF THE EID TAKBĪR

There are different versions of the takbīr wording reported from the Companions of the Prophet SAW. This indicates that there is flexibility in this matter. Therefore, the lafaz takbir for Eid takbir may be performed twice (اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ) or three times (اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ، اَللهُ أَكْبَرُ،). If supplemented with the lafaz لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ، صَدَقَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ so on are added, this is also an acceptable addition.
