SPECIFYING GRAVE VISITATION ON EID DAY

Muslims are recommended to visit graves at any time without specifying a particular time or day, whether on Eid or otherwise. The practice of certain parties in specifying grave visitation on the morning of Eid has been mistakenly regarded as if it were a religiously mandated practice. Furthermore, this practice also contradicts the original purpose of celebrating Eid in Islam, which is as a day of joy and celebration. There is no specific virtue in visiting graves on the morning of Eid. Therefore, specifying Eid day as a day for visiting graves is an action that contravenes the Sunnah of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).
