REMINDER OF DEATH
It is permissible to deliver a reminder after burying the deceased as an admonition to the living. Such reminder should be delivered with propriety, without raising the voice beyond necessity and efforts should be made to engender a sense of repentance and awareness.
A distinction should be made between a reminder at the cemetery and a sermon. A reminder at the cemetery is performed if there is a need and is conducted briefly and it should not be made obligatory.
